Ron Morley worked as an art editor and creative director of newspapers and magazines for his entire career before abandoning his media work to concentrate on painting full time some years ago. He and his partner, the painter Christine Ellingham, first began visiting Spain to paint thirty years ago, and lived in various parts of southern Spain for three years before returning to London. They have spent much time over the decades travelling and painting in the Alpujarras and the pueblos blancos, at one point basing themselves in Arcos de la Frontera. He too divides his time between their home in Suffolk and their new home in Benaoján. |
