Raymond Ward

Raymond Ward has worked as a teacher of economics but has also spent much of his life as an explorer, finding inspiration for his painting in expeditions to Greenland, the Arctic Circle and elsewhere. When not climbing the Himalayas he has also been a gifted painter since his university days. He has exhibited in such austere settings as the Royal Geographical Society and the Alpine Club in London, as well as galleries in England, Denmark, Sweden and Zimbabwe. Now settled permanently in the "comparatively warm" climes of Ronda, he is dedicating himself to painting full time. |
