Trained as an illustrator at London's Hornsey College of Art, Christine Ellingham has worked as a professional artist since graduating. She has combined her own work in oils and watercolours with a long career as a contributing illustrator to many of Britain's leading newspapers and magazines. She first came to Spain in the 1970s, living here for three years before returning to London, but returning frequently, at one point basing herself with her partner the painter Ron Morley in Arcos de la Frontera. She began visiting Ronda two years ago, and now divides her time between their home in Suffolk and their new home in Benaoján near Ronda. |
